Rob Saucedo attended Texas A&M University in College Station in the early 2000s, working at both The Battalion, the student newspaper, and, later, the Bryan-College Station Eagle. In 2007, while up too late and having consumed one too many Diet Mountain Dews, Saucedo hatched an idea for a werewolf story set in the small Texas town that had been his home for the last four years. Unfortunately, life got in the way, and the story idea fell to the wayside. Cut to 2020, and Saucedo, having lost his job due to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, found himself with more time than he knew what to do with. Fueled by caffeine and a desire to entertain his friends, Saucedo wrote the first iteration of WHERE WOLF as a serialized web novel. Over the next year, Saucedo would adapt the story into a podcast script and, finally, a webcomic with his new collaborators Debora Lancianese and Jack Morelli. WHERE WOLF is Saucedo’s tribute to his lifelong love of werewolves and his mixed feelings towards the Lone Star state. Debora and Jack are happy to be along for the ride.

Yes! A sequel titled THE CURSE OF THE WHERE WOLF is finished and will be published as a graphic novel in the Fall of 2025 before being serialized on this website in the months to come.
If the team behind WHERE WOLF has their way, the future will be paved with new stories in the WHERE WOLF universe. There are plenty more stories to tell featuring these characters. The best way to help ensure these stories are being told is to A) purchase a physical copy of the book - either from the site’s web store or from the online or physical retailer of your choice and B) spread the good gospel of WHERE WOLF to your friends and enemies. Rate and review the book on Amazon, GoodReads, or wherever you let your social network know where your bookmark lies.
